R and C’s story began when they were only teenagers. They first met during a school project, where R’s outgoing personality met C’s quieter, more thoughtful nature. Nearly a decade later, during the stillness of the pandemic, fate gave them another chance. Reconnecting through Instagram, what started as lighthearted messages soon grew into daily conversations. Those calls and FaceTimes stretched late into the night, slowly building a bond rooted in comfort, laughter, and trust. Despite the miles between them, their relationship deepened, and they soon knew this was something worth holding onto.
After a year of long distance, R and C finally reunited in person. That moment of being back together was surreal—though so much time had passed, everything between them felt natural and familiar. It was as if no years had gone by at all. With each step forward, their love only grew stronger, eventually leading to their engagement after three and a half years together.
To mark this new chapter, R and C wanted to capture their story in a place that represented both their love and their life in California. We chose Pasadena City Hall, with its timeless architecture, as a backdrop that mirrored the elegance and strength of their bond. To complete the session, we wandered beneath Southern California’s iconic palm trees, framing their laughter and closeness against a backdrop that felt truly their own.
